Food always on the top. The masala fish always loved by my family i think there is no better Indian restaurant then mirch masala.
Recommended to all food lover.
If you order the right things, this ranks as a top-rated (authentic) budget Indian restaurant in West London. Menu is simple, and well explained. Our favourites include - Masala Tawa Fish, Tandoori Chicken, Chicken Tikka (not masala), Railway Mutton, Laal Maas, Dhaba Murgh, Dal Makhani, Kulfi (dessert). For veg, Paneer Potli Masala is not a bad choice. For butter chicken lovers, the Chooza Khas Makhni falls a bit short of expectations, so can be avoided.. the Dhaba Murgh is a much better option and our all-time favourite. The decor is hard-core Indian (Rajhasthani mostly) and has some quirky vintage (traditional) bits. The staff is friendly..make sure you get your spice sorted while ordering.
This restaurant can be an easy choice on the Chiswick high street which is full of choices. The ambience is made to look like an Indian street market with all Indian origin products on display (parachute oil, Dabur lal tel, himalaya products, vicco toothpastes). There is even an auto rickshaw kept on display which is good to start stories about India if you are going with non-indians. They even serve cocktails which are indianised such as black pepper strawberry, chilli martini and so on. We tried the black pepper strawberry martini and it tasted nice and refreshing. We ordered kebabs which were nice but very spicy. Do check the spice levels before you order. The red mutton curry was the highlight of our dinner, it was extremely delicious. The usuals pilau rice, popadams and chutneys are usual similar to the ones you get in any Indian restaurant. Worth a visit for the mutton curry and the ambience. Service is satisfactory.
